
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as the financial backbone for our engineering operations, providing strategic support, optimizing processes, and managing the financial aspects of critical engineering programs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts to guide engineering initiatives
- Perform in-depth financial analyses that support corporate objectives and executive decision-making
- Lead the creation of accurate engineering cost estimates (ECE) for new programs and projects
- Design and implement an annual investment audit program to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Review and approve program expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls recognized as industry-leading standards
- Process and reconcile month-end journal entries with precision and timeliness
- Build collaborative relationships with engineering teams and project managers to ensure financial alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Fluent bilingualism in French and English (written and verbal)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience working with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Practical knowledge of SAP financial modules and processes
- Strong business acumen with proven ability to partner effectively with engineering and program/project management teams
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Details
- Compensation: $30.00-$45.00/hour based on experience and qualifications
- Location: Fully onsite position at our Longueuil, Quebec facility
- Schedule: Full-time with standard business hours
