Job Overview
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals that meet our standards of taste, presentation, and safety. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and contribute to menu planning and inventory management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in menu planning, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on current food trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment (required).
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Details
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed-term contract (12 months).
Pay: $20.00 per hour.
Additional Pay: Overtime pay.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts.
- Day, evening, and night shifts available.
- Monday to Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed.
